Sand Bridge State Park, A Quiet Little Picnic

Just down the street from Raymond B. Winter State Park, I had lunch at Sand Bridge State Park. It only has about 4 to 6 spots to park. But I loved it here.

It had the wonderful Rapid Run!!!

With a bridge that took you over it to a picnic areas.

Up a little trail to the second picnic area.

It is not big but it makes up for it by having few people, Rapid Run’s wonderful soft and gentle sound, little birds chirping away, and squirrels playing. It was a great place for a snack and a bit of reading for me.
