How to Spray Paint at Cadillac Ranch Plus Cadillac RV Park

Cadillac Ranch allows you to spray paint the Cadillacs at the ranch. Every morning, a gentleman appears with spray paint for sale at the gate.

The vehicles were part of an art project in 1974 but they change all the time as people add their touch to it. They will be repainted here and there for different things such as black when one of the original artist died, for a commercial, or just to have a new canvas for new visitors.

The ranch is just off the highway but you have to back track on the side road to get to it. Then park, pick up your spray paint, and walk through a cattle gate and through the field to them.

Olive Oil enjoyed her time here. She did not want to leave until I promised treats back at the van!

Just down the street is the Cadillac RV Park with a larger then life cowboy to greet you.

It has three different Cadillacs with John Wayne, Willie Nelson, and Elvis to greet you. Plus a nice gift shop for any of your needs. These are great places to stop for a bit but only for a bit. But it is right outside Amarillo and if you are passing by, stop for a moment and enjoy the site!
