How to find Peace at Clear Creek Recreation Area!

Clear Creek Recreation Area is just a great place to camp, picnic, swim, hang out, boat, hike, and just relax from the stress of life. Located near Jasper, Alabama. I was just heading out to New Mexico from Atlanta to visit family and I found this great little place to camp for the night and spend the late afternoon. But I really wish that I could have stay so much longer.

After driving for hours, I actually pulled out my craft box and make the Frog Prince Yoga room. The area was just peacefully. I had not feel that kind of peacefulness in a lot time. The campsite was right next to the water and it was just so enjoyable to watch the water and make a Yoga Room for the Frog Prince!

The peace of the area was uncanny only rippled by a passing boat. I was taking pictures down at the lake when I found the small frog that is the top picture. It was so small. It was amazing that I saw it! I do love frogs!

My camera seemed to have dropped my pictures from my morning at the park the next day. But it has a great swimming area and boat ramp. As well as the picture above with picnic areas. Close to the road but very private with all the greenery plus just down the way is the lake.

I wish I could talk more about this place but it was just peaceful. It had a bit of hiking but I was just not interest in it. I understand that it has a wonderful waterfall not to far away. But I was just in the mood to sit and relax. Little Olive Oil just found a shady tree to lay in. It was early June when I was there.

I believe that I will need to go back because I loved the peace that I was finding here. Some places are fun to be at. Some places are set for adventure. But this place was a place to sit and relax and find inner peace without trying!
