Happy Thanksgiving 2020!!!! Journal ending 11/26/20
Happy Thanksgiving 2020! It has been a hell of a year for most of us. For a few, it has brought good things but for most of us, it has been putting our life on hold, cancelling major events, not seeing family and/or friend, being out of work, staying at home, and/or learn a lot about ourselves and those closest to us.
For me, it was a change of plans. Closing my business to travel the world for a few years has change to traveling in the United States which I am enjoying but there are so many places that I can’t see and others that I will not see.
2020 have brought so many changes to so many people throughout the world. Over 250,000 Americans have died this year of Covid19. My heart goes out to those families and their friends who will be missing them this holiday season.
Thanksgiving is now a hot topic for people. Should you have dinner with family and/or friends? Should you stay home alone or with those in your household? Each of us have to make that personal choice.
I personal will be spending my Thanksgiving with Olive Oil. My daughter and I chatted yesterday, she came up with the name. Tinker Bell just was not working out. But she seems to like Olive Oil. But she is a Pug and as a Pug, she loves to eat. So, it fits perfectly!
Waking up at a little camping spot on Lake Meredith, I will be having a potato, steak, and swiss cheese lasagna for Thanksgiving Dinner. I am not a big turkey fan! All over a camp fire. As the year draws to a close, I can only hope that 2021 brings hope, joy, and happiness to us all and send my best wishes to those that have lost loved ones this year.
