Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail 126 to 128 Plus-Greenock to Boston
The trail in this section is mainly through people back yards. It is very pretty in places but it is more of a get through then anything else in most areas. But getting to Boston is well worth it. It has a great bar and grill, a visitor center, a gift shop, and a trail shop. Check out my next post on Boston for more information.
126-River City Junction, Trail Maintenance Volunteer Center, and the Monongahela River
River City Junction has bike rental a lot of services available. Check them out on your trip. Or call ahead (412) 754-0976.
There is also part of the Great Allegheny Passage Trail Volunteer Center. Make sure you donate or volunteer to these great groups. They help ensure that Rail Trails are opened and maintained.
This mile is many just green and through peoples back yard. lol. Nothing to see here!
Except a peek at the Monongahela River now and then.
Mile 127 marker.
Mile 127-Pretty Views, Industry Ruins, Squirrel????, and Green Bug

Mile 128-Boston!!!! Gifts, Food, and Beer!!!!
Trail signs start to turn up but the Boston Parking Area is still down the way a bit. But if you do go up, about two block is a gas station and a few other things.
Including the Elizabeth Township Historical Society with a museum and library for you history buffs.
But what you are really looking for is that blue bridge and a nice cool beer and bar food…lol
Which is right under this blue bridge!!!
Trailside Treasures and Besty Shoppe are just off the trail. Even better, they are nice to you even if you smell. ?
Next door is the Tea Room as well. Totally cool stuff in here and they ship.
Check out the visitor center!!!!
