Fall in Love at Fowlers Hollow State Park

Fowlers Hollow State Park is a beautiful little park in Perry County within the Tuscarora State Forest. It about 10 miles from the closest store so bring in anything that you might need with you.

I loved the time that I spent here. It had this sweet smell to it. The little creek was just wonderful to dip my feet into and the bit of hiking available through the park was wonderful.

The park is near the Tuscarora State Forest which includes longer trails for hiking, skiing, mountain biking, snowmobiling, and horseback riding. For example, the trail head for Alfarata and Beaston trails which are great for mountain biking and horseback riding.

The park has wonderful picnic areas which are close to the creek. The whole day can be socially distancing with young children playing in the creek close to the picnic area with mountain biking for the older children.

About 35 minutes away is Colonel Denning State Park which has more activities should you want to go swimming or find other items to do. But I don’t know why anyone would want to leave the place it is so peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable.

It is a little treasure that so many will miss. A great place to enjoy without the crowd. I just fell in love with the place.
